Our young Victorians visited the following for this year’s field trip:
A. Gardenia Plant
The staff at Gardenia showed us an AVP presentation documenting how they manage to produce more than 6,000 breads per hour. Their baking and packaging process are practically hands free. The personnel are only involved in quality assurance. They gave us free bread and allowed us to buy more breads at discounted prices.
B. Chips Delight Plant
At Chips Delight, preschool students watched their AVP presentation while the mommies and daddies are waiting in the Chips Delight store. The Chips Delight team showed them a section of the Chips Delight factory. They gave away free biscuits at the end of the presentation.
C. Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs at Greenbelt
The finale of the Preschool field trip was the magical play of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs at Greenbelt. Snow White is a classic tale of a jealous step mother and a beautiful lady with 7 different but very loyal friends. Our kids learned the following lessons:
- Beauty should not only be skin deep. True beauty radiates from the inside of a godly woman.
- They should not receive and eat food given by strangers.
- They can have different types of friends just like the 7 dwarfs. They should learn to appreciate the uniqueness of each of their friends.
