I can still remember how my son would remind me everyday that he needs to read 1 book per day to complete his reading list. I think this is a very good project because in the process, I was encouraged to be more involved in helping my son develop a good reading habit. We read a variety of books – science, fiction, non-fiction, Bible stories. I believe that our Victorians learned a lot reading these books.
At the end of the month, they celebrated the completion of their reading lists with popcorn and chocolates! They were very excited to the celebration. They were inspired to finish their reading list in anticipation of their popcorn party.
