The Panlalawigan Science Mind Challenge Season 9 was held on October 8, 2016 at Trece Martirez Gymnasium. The competition had two parts: elimination and final rounds. In the elimination round, they answered 40-50 questions. Only the 1st 10 schools joined the final round. In the final round, they were given 15 questions: 5 easy, 5 average and 5 difficult questions about Environmental Science.
